Getting Started

What Is a Gratify Payment Plan?

Simply put, a Gratify Payment plan splits your payments on a large purchase item into a series of manageable monthly or bi-weekly installments, without paying significant amounts on interest. This lets you shop now, and pay later.

How Do I Know How Much I Will Be Able to Spend With Gratify Pay?

In your profile, there is a section where you can view what your approval level is. This will change over time as our partnership deepens and we learn more about your payment behaviour.

HINT: Paying on time, or even better, early, will increase your approval level. As you purchase more through Gratify your approval level will also increase.

Does Gratify Pay Charge Any Interest or Fees?

We do not like interest. It's a trap for the unwary consumer.

Predominantly, the store offering Gratify will work with Gratify to make your purchase as cost-effective as possible. We do charge a missed payments fee, but it is to change behaviour.

We stay in business when you make all your payments - in other words, when you win, we win!

How Does Gratify Pay Affect My Credit Score?

Good question!

In general, paying off your balance early or consistently paying on time can help improve your credit score. We are here to help and support your financial growth by making decisions that will have a positive impact on your financial well-being, and we will try to do everything possible to support you in meeting the installment schedule.

Consistently missed payments will affect your credit score.

Can I Increase My Spending Limit?

Yes!

But just like all good partnerships, it takes time. Your initial spending profile is the start. As you and Gratify buy and pay off purchases, our knowledge (and trust) of each other increases, and your spending limit with us can increase.

HINT: Never miss a scheduled payment and pay off your purchases early to increase your profile with Gratify.

Purchases and Refunds

Why Was My Order Declined?

There are a few main reasons that a purchase can be declined.

The first is that your card does not have enough funds to make the purchase or has expired. You can remedy this by topping up your card or by using a different card that will have enough funds.

The second reason is that we feel that we don't know you well enough yet. Double-check that the information you updated was accurate at account creation.

Finally, Gratify applies restrictions based on the number of open orders available, credit limit, or missed payments.

I Received My Order, but the Merchandise Inside the Package Was Damaged

We have all been there. Your shiny package arrives and you excitedly open it up to see that something happened in transit.

You and Gratify made the purchase from the merchant. As such, we recommend logging into your account on the store that you purchased the item from and following their processes. They will have a return policy listed on their website.

I Need to Cancel My Order

It happens and we get it!

After making a purchase you sometimes change your mind for various reasons. Log back into your account with the store where you made your purchase and check what options are available for returns and cancellations. All Merchants will have a return policy listed on their website and we recommend you start there.
